SCHOOL SUPPLY LISTS
Hope Scholarship applications for new students for the 2026-2027 school year will open on March 2, 2026.
IMPORTANT: If you wish to apply for a new student for next school year, please do not take any action for that student in the Hope online portal until March 2.
If you start the application earlier, the application will automatically default to a 25% application for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. Any in-progress, unsubmitted applications for the 2025-2026 school year that exist at midnight on February 28, 2026 will automatically be closed.
As a reminder, the eligibility requirements for the Hope Scholarship change for the 2026-2027 school year. All students eligible to be enrolled in public school in grades K-12 will be eligible for the Hope Scholarship, opening the door for existing private school and traditional homeschool students to apply without first returning to public school.
All Hope Scholarship applications require a WVEIS ID number. You may obtain a WVEIS ID number for your student from your local county board of education by completing the WVEIS ID Request Form and submitting it by email using the special email address for your local county found HERE. This form is designed for students in all grade levels, including incoming kindergarten students.
