Investment proposal for partnering with Messiah Christian Academy
The Mission and Vision of MCA:
Messiah Christian Academy partners with parents, local churches, and the community to offer students a biblically integrated education which will equip them to embrace biblical truth, to pursue academic excellence, and to exemplify Christ-like servanthood.
The vision of MCA is to equip students with faith, knowledge, and wisdom to advance the Kingdom of God through the vocations and ministry for which they are called by God. In an environment of quality academics and strong, loving discipline, students will demonstrate the ability to
1. Minister to others by demonstrating faith, love, and truth
2. Apply the Word of God throughout their daily lives
3. Pursue the God-given gift of learning
4. Think and act with the mind of Christ

Understanding the mission of our fundraising:
As a Christian school, we believe that MCA has a unique opportunity to impact the lives of students in the Mineral County area for Christ. MCA is approved by the West Virginia Department of Education and will be using a curriculum that is Christ-centered and founded on the Word of God for Pre-K - 12th grade.
The excitement generated by the beginning of this ministry demonstrated the need for a Christian school to support students and families. The faculty and staff are committed to this new mission field and the beacon of light and hope that can be found only in an education founded on the Word of God.
The goals of the development program are to fund the gap between the cost of education and tuition dollars by providing financial aid for students, supporting compensation for teachers, and subsidizing many other projects.
The MCA Capital Campaign, on the other hand, is above and beyond the scope of the normal development program. Mineral County is planning the auction of the former Frankfort Intermediate School in June of 2025. Raising the needed funds to purchase the building will allow tuition and regular development funds to be used for the annual budget and not saddle the ministry with a loan for the coming years. This property will be a vital resource in the ministry to students.
What part of the ministry can you help with? The goal of the MCA Capital Campaign is to raise $500,000 for the purchase of the former Frankfort Intermediate School.
Messiah Christian Academy Core Values

As Messiah (Christ), Jesus is God in the flesh and the only begotten Son of God.

The Bible, God’s written Word, is pre-eminent in the life of the Christian. Divinely inspired and inerrant, it is authoritative for all life, including the life of the Christian school.
#3 – Biblical Worldview
Education is never neutral. God's Word is the foundation for all knowledge. Christian education must ensure that students learn about the world and their place and tasks in it from a Biblical worldview.
#4 –Partnering with Parents
God has given parents the primary responsibility for bringing up their children in fear and admonition of the Lord.
#5 – Quality Education
Each student is a uniquely wonderful and marvelous creation of God and is accorded dignity, worth, and nurturing. MCA staff will strive to instill in students an excitement for learning, as well as the desire to recognize and develop their God-given talents.
#6 – Church
The church has been and always will be the instrument of God to fulfill His purposes on earth. The church is the expression of God’s Kingdom to the world.
#7 – Stewardship
Every aspect of Christian education must be considered a stewardship responsibility from God.
